Best Man
Ryan Cox
Brother of the Groom
Throughout my life Ryan has always been someone I can count on and look up to. In fact, once upon a time he wired money into my bank account when I was trying to impress Amee while we were in Hong Kong. He has protected me throughout the bad times and celebrated with me during the good times. We are often mistaken for twins by total strangers, and Amee and Shannon swear we act and waddle the same. I think it's rare for two brothers to be so close, but I couldn't imagine it any other way. I'm so excited to have him as my best man and more importantly my brother and best friend. Ryan is currently a consultant for White Light Group in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Groomsmen
Ravi Patel
Friend of the Groom
When I first met Ravi I couldn't stand him. Farrell and I played basketball with him and all he did was foul me the entire time. His excuse after we moved in together the next year was that I was "too big" and that was all he could do. The funny part is that after I got to know him he is absolutely one of the nicest and most genuine people I know...and he's also an idiot. I know it sounds mean, but I have many stories to back this claim. Over the years Ravi has been such a good friend to Amee and I, and we both can't wait for him to be in the wedding. Ravi is currently a third year medical student working on his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Farrell Brody
Friend of the Groom
Farrell and I met freshman year of college, because he was my high school friend's roommate. He was one of the most responsible and unique people I had ever met, and definitely "enlightened" me (or at least tried too) in many areas of life. Although Farrell's responsibility and maturity have only decreased over the years that I have known him, he still remains one of my best friends. Also, he hasn't technically committed to being one of my groomsmen until I promise to pair him with the most attractive bridesmaid. Despite that, Farrell is a loyal and caring friend who will always be there for me and I can't wait to have in the wedding. Farrell is currently working at White and Case Law Firm in New York, New York.
Mani Seetharaman
Friend of the Groom
I feel like I should lead off his introduction with a "Mani story", of which there are many, but I don't think this is the appropriate place. I will only say that any guy who tosses his phone to a girl and says, "I'll call you later" deserves a medal. Mani lived in the suite across from us sophomore year, and we are all glad he defected to our side after the year was over. Mani really knows how to have a good time, is always supportive, and keeps you from taking yourself too seriously. I've had some great times with Mani and am so happy he is going to be in our wedding. Mani is currently working at a laboratory in Westchester, New York.
Charles Hoffman
Friend of the Groom
Charles is by far the most steady, calm, and responsible friend that I have. I can't remember exactly when or how we met in high school, but I know he was always there for me. We had a lot of great times at camps, my junior year when we played football together, and especially when I traveled around Europe with him my freshman year of college. His practicality, dependability, and commitment are all things that I admire about Charles. We don't get too many chances to talk or see each other these days, but I know he will always be there to listen if I call. I'm so glad we have kept in touch over the years and look forward for him to experience being a groomsmen in my wedding just as I did in his. Charles is currently married and working for a real estate company in Atlanta, Georgia.
Harlan Alford
Friend of the Groom
I believe Harlan and I met at a sports camp at the end of junior high. We were both very competitive and drove each other to success during high school. Harlan and I also went well together because we are both hopeless romantics that caused a lot of problems for ourselves. I won't go into details, but there were many girls, many problems, and much to talk about. Spending time with Harlan throughout high school made it such a great experience, and it was very hard when he went to college the year before I did. I'm grateful we can not talk in 6 months and it still seems like yesterday. I'm looking forward for him to be a part of our wedding. Harlan is currently an aspiring actor in New York City.
Brian Kubit
Friend of the Groom
Brian and I met primarily because he is one of Amee's close friends. We got to know each other very well in college and even better once we all graduated. I can really say that I am not just friends with Brian because of Amee, but rather I would be friends with Brian even if we didn't meet through Amee. I think we get along so well because we both ramble on about technology when we are together and have a bad habit of creating websites. We've also had a lot of fun over the years playing Frisbee golf. I'm very glad that he will be able to be a part of our wedding. Brian is currently working in the corporate audit department at National City in Cleveland, Ohio.
Naimesh Patel
Friend of the Groom
I met Naimesh because he and Amee worked together at National City. Ever since I met him the first time, I knew we would be friends...primarily because we are both work-a-holics and can understand each other. Over the past two years, Amee and I have had a great a time hanging out with him and his girlfriend, Nirali. Our mutual love of Mexican and distaste for exercise makes us all the more alike. I'm glad he will be one of my groomsmen. Naimesh is currently working in the retail line of business at National City in Cleveland, Ohio.
